Laura Scarlett
Consultant
Laura Scarlett is part of Information Transfer's team of highly experienced content writers, developing bespoke training and communication materials for clients across all sectors.
Laura is particularly interested in language and in conveying information clearly. She has a degree in English Language and Literature and has also taught English as a foreign language. She is a qualified solicitor with international experience of financial, corporate and property transactions. She is familiar with reviewing complex information and documentation and looking for practical, commercial solutions.
Laura gained editorial experience with the online subscription library of the world's largest university publisher. Just before joining Information Transfer, Laura worked for a company providing commercial insight and leadership development programmes for a wide range of corporate, professional services, financial and public sector clients. She designed and delivered bespoke training courses, producing diverse supporting materials in various media, and facilitated face-to-face group sessions on communication.
Laura has lived in Italy, Singapore and Scotland, but has now returned to rural Essex. In her free time she enjoys walking, although the drama of mountain scenery entices her away from the flatlands of East Anglia whenever possible for serious hiking.
